How to read
the sky
Everything on screen is drawn from the forecast for that place and hour. No photos, no icons. New here? Start with the overview ›
Sky & circle
The background mixes a colour for the time of day (following the real sunrise and sunset) with one for the temperature. Clouds, fog and rain drain the colour; snow brightens it.
The circle is the sun by day and a ring (the moon) at night. The hotter it is, the more it pulses. Thick cloud veils it, and below −5° an ice halo appears.
Weather
